The partner companies for the tax consulting specialisation are mainly tax consulting firms. If you can imagine a future in the world of work in the field of taxation, you are in great demand as a Bachelor of Arts. If you want to become a tax advisor later, the degree programme will help you: instead of seven to ten years of practical work, you only have to prove three years of practice with the three-year degree programme in order to be admitted to the tax advisor examination. In addition, in the fifth and sixth semesters you will already be familiarised with the contents of the tax advisor examination.
Study content
In the first four semesters of the tax consulting specialisation, you will study tax consulting for eight semester hours per semester. The fifth and sixth semesters deepen this knowledge.
Credit Points
The modules usually end with a written exam or, in some modules, with a term paper. You receive five credit points for each exam you pass.
Additional degrees
In addition to the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, you can complete a commercial vocational qualification during the three-year degree programme. Furthermore, there is the additional option of obtaining a trainer's qualification in accordance with the Ordinance on Trainer's Qualification (AEVO). The trainer's certificate is the formal authorisation to train in a company later on.
