Tuition fee

The tuition fees are EUR 489.00 per month. A monthly price of 447.00 euros is granted for graduates of the DHSH and its partner universities.

Admission Requirements

For the Digital Business & Innovation master's degree, a first professional university degree in the field of economics (business administration, business informatics or similar) with at least 180 ECTS and a minimum grade point average of 2.7 is required. English language skills (must be proven to the Student Administration Office by the last day of the first semester at the latest. In this case, admission is conditional.)

Technical requirements

An internet-enabled device with a microphone and camera is required for the master’s degree to participate in online modules.

First professional degree with 210 ECTS

With a degree of 210 ECTS (e.g. Bachelor) you can complete your Master's degree in four semesters. Through the three theory semesters and the master's thesis you will receive 90 ECTS. 300 ECTS are required for a Master's degree.

First professional qualification with 180 ECTS

With a degree of 180 ECTS (e.g. Bachelor’s degree), it is possible to acquire the missing 30 ECTS in one of the following ways:

  • Experience
    • If you can prove at least half a year of full-time professional experience before you start your studies, you can be credited with up to 30 ECTS. In this case, admission is subject to the condition that the missing ECTS credits must be acquired by the time the Master's thesis is registered. We would be happy to advise you personally on the extent to which we can credit your experience.
  • Courses/homework (subject to a fee)
    • You successfully complete up to two additional online elective modules as part of the DHSH bachelor's degree programs (5 ECTS each, fee: 290 euros per module for enrolled students, 490 euros per module for external students)
    • You will successfully take part in selected certificate courses (10 ECTS each) offered by the Schleswig-Holstein Business Academy. For example, the following courses are available:
      • E-Commerce-Manager (IHK)
      • Innovation manager (IHK)
      • Online Marketing Manager (IHK)
      • Project Manager (IHK)
      • Social Media Manager (IHK)

The additional offers can be freely combined to get 30 ECTS. In this case, admission is subject to the condition that the missing ECTS credits must be acquired by the time the Master's thesis is registered.

Educational leave

You can submit certain days as educational leave in the master's program. You can find out what these are at any time from our student advisory service.

Registration deadline

Registration for the Digital Business & Innovation master's degree program beginning April 1, 2024 is possible until February 15, 2024.
