Requirements & Application
What you bring along
Experience shows that many career paths are open to you with a successfully completed dual study programme at DHSH. In return, you must also bring something with you. We expect our applicants to have:
- Abitur or Fachhochschulreife (school leaving certificate and practical part), alternatively also completion of qualified further training (e.g. master craftsman, business administrator) or completion of vocational training and successful participation in a university aptitude test.
- Conclusion of a study and training contract with a company
- Good knowledge of mathematics (test to check own knowledge and solution sheet) Only relevant for the courses in business administration and business informatics
- high motivation
- high ability to work under pressure
- initiative and commitment
- For prospective students of social work: State-recognized educators have a professional university entrance qualification. Studying is therefore also possible without a high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification
This is how your application works
The study years begin on 1 October each year. Here you can see the list of companies that cooperate with us for the dual study programme. The first step is to send an application to one of these companies If you convincingly show what you are capable of, you will receive an acceptance letter and the DHSH will review your admission.
However, you are also welcome to take action yourself and send an application to a company that is not yet on our list. The DHSH then uses the training plan to check whether the company meets the necessary quality criteria and thus becomes a cooperation partner.
Do you have questions about the application or admission? Then our student advisory service will be happy to help you.
Lena will answer any further questions you may have about the dual study programme at the DHSH.
